Between 13 and 20 July, Israel
killed 57 Palestinians in Gaza, including eight women, six children and 43 men. In the past 24 hours alone, a further 10 people have been killed and 42 injured.
In the early hours of the morning on 21 July, an Israeli airstrike hit the home of the al-Masri family, killing the
entire family. Three young girls, a boy and both of their parents were burned to death in the attack.
Since 11 October, the first full day of the so-called ceasefire, Israel has killed at least
1,168 Palestinians in Gaza and injured 3,798 more, while a further 802 bodies have been recovered from beneath the rubble.
There has never been a ceasefire for the people of Palestine. There has only been a continuation of the slaughter of civilians confined in one of the most densely crowded areas on earth, blocked from escape under military occupation. The
genocide and illegal
occupation must end.
You are obliged to act. I call on you to urgently:
- Impose full, comprehensive sanctions on Israel.
- Enforce a complete two-way trade embargo, ending all import and export activity.
- Immediately end all arms sales and intelligence cooperation.
- Ensure unimpeded access for aid and humanitarian organisations.
- Demand an end to the illegal occupation.
