report by OCHA detailed more than 50 settler attacks in a single week, resulting in casualties and property damage, including arson attacks on a mosque, homes, farmland, and vehicles. On average, settler attacks in 2026 are occurring at a rate of six incidents every single day.
Military Violence
Israeli military activity included live fire and mass raids, demolitions, forced self-demolitions and sweeping movement restrictions.
At least one Palestinian was killed in the West Bank by Israel. Nasser Ali Kamel al-Saadi, 45, was shot dead by soldiers in the Jenin refugee camp on 26 May.  Several have been wounded by live fire during the same period, including a man shot in the abdomen and hand north of Hebron, a child shot in Beit Fajjar, a child wounded east of Tulkarm, and two Palestinians shot south of Bethlehem.
During a raid south of Hebron, several Palestinians were suffocated by tear gasTwo children aged 2 and 4 were suffocated by tear gas during Israeli raids south of Bethlehem.
Raids and Abductions
More than 31 Palestinians were abducted and detained across the West Bank, including children, journalists, school principals, and a groom taken on his wedding day.
Raids saw women and children physically assaulted, a boy wounded by live fire, homes damaged and ransacked, and jewellery and mobile phones seized. In Nablus, the Israeli military fired on civilian homes, setting one on fire, andraids on Beit Furik sparked confrontations. Soldiers stormed Solomon’s Pools and assaulted two minors while disrupting a funeral procession.
Checkpoints Israel further restricted movement for Palestinians, closing checkpoints and entrances to more than half a dozen villages. Families were blocked from reaching a cemetery at the Jenin refugee camp, firing tear gas at mourners who attempted to visit the graves of their relatives.
Land Grabs and Demolitions
Israel continued its systematic seizure of Palestinian land, confiscating large tracts near Jerusalem.
In Hebron, soldiers bulldozed commercial buildings, a farmstead, stone walls, a vineyard and the local power network, cutting electricity to residents.  Settlers erected additional illegal caravans on Mount Ebal north of Nablus.
Israeli Finance Minister Smotrich called for the rapid demolition orders against Khan al-Ahmar, a move that would forcibly displace hundreds of Palestinians in the eastern Jerusalem governorate.  An Israeli court rejected a petition challenging the designation of Palestinian land as a public park.  At least 620 Palestinians have been displaced by demolitions in 2026 alone, the highest monthly average in over 17 years of UN records.
These human rights abuses of apartheid, illegal occupation, and ethnic cleansing must end.
I urge you to:
  • Impose full, comprehensive sanctions on Israel.
  • Enforce a complete two-way trade embargo, ending all import and export activity.
  • Immediately end all arms sales and intelligence cooperation.
  • Ensure unimpeded access for aid and humanitarian organisations across Palestine.
  • Demand an end to the illegal occupation.
